There are many natural ways to remove facial hair. These ways will allow you to avoid irritation and similar side effects, that will stimulate your hair to grow faster.
Learn how to eliminate facial hair naturally and effectively, using sugar, lemon or simply a thread of silk or cotton, and gradually weaken the hair with the help of turmeric.
Silk or Cotton Thread Technique
A surprising, natural and possibly the most economical method to eliminate facial hair is to simply use a thread. This technique, known as Threading, was used in ancient India or Egypt, and indeed it is still used by women today.
At first, this method requires a bit of ability. You should seek a professional so she can explain well the procedure. When you will learn this technique, you will perform it very quickly and painlessly.
To apply this method we will use a silk or cotton thread, which will be used as a tie holding the follicles from the hair root with a non-aggressive way for the skin.
For realization of this procedure you cut off one long piece of thread and form a circle bound by its ends.
This type of hair removal has a great advantage that after six weeks hair will rise again, and gradually will weaken, opposite of the conventional waxing. Moreover, it can also be used on the face.
Turmeric mask
This turmeric facial mask is ideal for after waxing, as this spice has great properties for the skin and helps you to weaken the hair progressively, so it will be a perfect addition to our treatment.
Simply mix turmeric powder with water to obtain a creamy paste, but make sure it won’t dribble. Apply this mask on the skin and leave it to act for 20 minutes.
Sugar and lemon wax
This method of hair removal has been used since ancient times in ancient Egypt and other Eastern countries, and you will only need sugar and lemon. The method is similar with the wax method, but it is less painful, more economical and more natural.
Currently, some countries already sell prepared sugar paste, though it is very easy to learn how to prepare it at home.
We will need:
2 cups of sugar
The juice of 1 lemon
A little water if lemon juice is not enough
Preparation
Place the juice of a lemon and two cups of sugar in a medium saucepan. The juice should completely cover the sugar. If that doesn’t happen, add a little water until covered.
We will heat this mixture over medium / high heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until the sugar has dissolved completely. If you have a cooking thermometer you can check when the mixture reaches 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
When it starts boiling, diminish the fire and wait until it forms a thick, sticky paste, but malleable, with soft golden color, like honey. If you got a dark color, you have probably burned the mixture and you should do it again. You should never boil over high heat for more than a minute.
Turn aside from the heat and let it cool down.
This sugar wax should be applied in the same manner as the conventional wax. Let’s spread the wax and so it forms a thin layer and without waiting to pull in the opposite direction of the hair growth.
Sprinkle a little bit of talcum powder in the region where should be shaved so the sugar wax won’t stick to the skin. Remember to clean and dry the area well before the hair removal.
When finished, apply a bit of moisturizing cream or gel of aloe Vera to mitigate the effects on the skin. If some wax parts still remain wash the area with warm water.
